Josh is an aspiring architect and urban designer based in Washington, D.C., committed to advancing resilient, equitable, and community-centered design through his professional and academic work. He currently serves as a Coordinator of Construction with Prince William County Public Schools, supporting the planning, design, and construction of K–12 educational facilities through coordination with architects, engineers, contractors, and public agencies. Previously, Josh worked as an Urban Planning and Capacity Building Analyst at The Cadmus Group, where he supported federal initiatives including the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Reconnecting Communities Institute and the EPA’s Creating Resilient Water Utilities program, providing technical assistance to municipalities nationwide. Josh is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Howard University, teaching design studios and foundations courses with a focus on participatory design and spatial equity. He currently serves as National Student Leadership Chair for NOMA National and as Historian on the DCNOMA Executive Board, and is a former National Student Representative for NOMA and NOMA Liaison for AIAS. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Architecture at Morgan State University and holds graduate degrees in architecture and resilient urban design from the University of the District of Columbia and Clemson University.
