Rio Rocket Valledor is the Director of Physical Design at Local Projects. Educated and trained as an architect, he
changed career paths to Exhibition and Visitor Experience Design sixteen years ago. Since then, he has enjoyed
working on projects with multidisciplinary elements (graphics, displays, artifacts, art, media, content, audio,
interactives) in diverse environments, guided by strong concepts or narrative and engaging visitors with various
design strategies. Select clients include UN Geneva Visitor Center, The NMAAHC in Washington D.C., the
International African American Museum in Charleston, SC (IAAM) and The Hip Hop Museum visualized concept study
in the Bronx, NY.
