Speaker Bio

Oksana Ramos, AIA, NOMA, is a first-generation Mexican American architect from Washington, D.C. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture from The School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. As a leader at the intersection of professional practice, community engagement, and cultural identity, Oksana is the immediate past chair of the AIA|DC LA.IDEA Committee (Latin American Interior Designers, Engineers & Architects). Oksana is committed to building inclusive pathways to leadership, empowering the next generation of Latinx architects. Oksana is a member of the 2024-2025 AIA Next to Lead cohort, a national program advancing association leadership among diverse women; she volunteers with the AIA Small Project Design Knowledge Community; and she is a member of the AIA|DC Women in Design Committee. Oksana serves on the planning committee for Arquitectos Coalition National.
