In his 12+ years of professional career, Juan has been with Perkins & Will for the past 10 years. With previous international experience working and living in New York, Boston, Amsterdam, London, Hong Kong and Xi’an, Juan brings a multicultural sensibility that frames his human-centered, diverse approach to design. Juan has been involved in a variety of project types, including commercial, institutional, academic, corporate, healthcare, residential, large-scale urban parks and transportation projects. His passion lies in new technologies, digital media, and computational design, which he has applied in many architecture projects to measure building performance, resolve complex geometry, and provide data-driven solutions. Juan is currently a professor of architecture and coordinator for the Master's program at the University of Miami.
