Tiffany Montañez, NOMA, is a proud Nuyorican, born and raised in Queens, New York. She is a Design Manager at Gensler’s Miami office, specializing in hospitality projects across the CALA region. She currently serves as President of the South Florida Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (SoFloNOMA), where she has led impactful initiatives such as Project Pipeline, a career exposure camp dedicated to inspiring the next generation of designers. Tiffany also serves on the AIA Miami Board of Directors as an Associate Director and is a member of NOMA’s national ARE Scholarship Committee, supporting emerging architects on their path to licensure. Tiffany has been a speaker at numerous industry events, where she frequently speaks to the importance of strengthening the education pipeline, cultivating meaningful mentorship, and celebrating the breadth and richness of ethnic identities within the profession, including the many expressions of Latinidad. Previously, she co-chaired the Diversity and Inclusion Committee at AIA Miami (2022–2023), championing equity within the architectural community. Her dedication to fostering a more inclusive and sustainable industry earned her the AIA Miami Associate of the Year Award in 2022.
