Designing a complex and highly specialized campus like the Clemson University Harvey S. Peeler College of Veterinary Medicine demands clear communication and exceptional alignment with stakeholders. This session showcases how the project team leveraged fixed and mobile VR-driven visualization, 3D printing, and full-scale illustrative mock-ups to help Clemson Leadership and the Construction Manager understand the evolving design in real time. Using immersive technology, the team created mobile-friendly VR experiences and finish-accurate environments that clients could explore directly from their personal devices. Digital fabrication and parametric automation tools were used to develop clear communication of key design opportunities to clients and builders alike. Attendees will learn how these tools strengthened trust, accelerated approvals, and made a complex, multi-building academic campus design approach more accessible to untrained audiences.
