Dr. Danika Franks is a board-certified emergency medicine physician who serves as the Clinical and Medical Education Advisor for Perkins&Will and is the founder and chief strategist of Community Flourish, LLC. Community Flourish is a consultancy that collaborates with healthcare and education professionals to design spaces that facilitate effective healthcare and educational exchanges, with a strong focus on the well-being of all individuals involved.

With 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, medical education, and administration, Dr. Franks brings extensive expertise in startups, hospitals, and medical training environments. She was the inaugural Dean of Students for the TCU School of Medicine, where she focused on community engagement and well-being. In this role, she developed a medical student learning community model that emphasizes service-learning and trust-building within local communities and created the THRIVE Well-Being Curriculum to promote well-being in medical education and clinical practice.

A graduate of the Physician Development Coaching Fellowship, Dr. Franks uses her coaching skills to support the professional identity formation of teams and mentees. She also serves as Vice Chair of the Foundation for the Young Women’s Leadership Academy, where she encourages young women in Fort Worth to pursue careers in STEM fields.
