Marcell Snodgrass is a skilled, committed architect experienced in mixed-income, mixed-use housing. His recent work includes Africatown Plaza in Seattle—affordable housing designed to reflect the community’s African roots and the Black experience in the Pacific Northwest—and the DCHA Senior Housing Playbook, a commissioned guide to best practices for the Washington D.C. Housing Authority. A Detroit native, Marcell is a Howard University graduate and an active member of NOMA. He worked for several years in Washington D.C. as a project manager across the multifamily residential, mixed-use, interiors, and commercial sectors before moving to California in 2017. Marcell serves as Chair of DBA’s Equity Committee.
