Amy Karn is a Senior Project Architect and Associate with HMC Architects, based in Ontario, California. With nearly twenty years of experience that spans work with large corporate and small boutique firms, including operating her own firm for five years, Amy is a Senior Project Architect with HMC Architects in Ontario, California. She has worked across a range of project types including entertainment venues, performing arts theaters, healthcare interiors, and is now focused primarily on collegiate athletics and teaching facilities.

Guided by the conviction that the sharing of knowledge and perspectives in open dialogue creates better architecture, Amy actively mentors young professionals through monthly seminars and encourages shared design authorship for all members of her teams. As a member of her firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, Amy strives to be a leading voice for inclusion in the quickly changing AEC industry.
