Darguin Fortuna, a founding principal at Flow Design Architects, leads a diverse architectural firm where everyone's voice contributes to creating a better world through innovative use of materials, form, and space. Located at 50 Grove St. Suite 221 in Salem, MA, Fortuna has been a proud citizen of Salem since 2010, starting his journey in the US at Wendy's on Lafayette St. He also worked for the Salem Parking Department while in college. Today, Mr. Fortuna is a registered architect in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Florida. His role ranges from designing projects to managing and guiding his team. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture Accredited degree from the Boston Architectural College, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He also instructs and serves as a visiting critic at the Boston Architectural College.

Lately, Darguin has been passionately involved in increasing diversity in the architecture field. He inspires and trains the next generation of architects through the Flow Design Architects YouTube Channel. Additionally, he actively engages with professional organizations, such as the American Institute of Architects (AIA), where he serves on the board of AIA Small Firm Exchange and represents young architects for Massachusetts. He also contributes as a Licensing Advisor for the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Fortuna has received various accolades, including the 2019 Emerging Designer Award, the Dean Arcangelo Cascieri Scholarship, and the AIA Henry Adams Medal & Certificate of Merit at the Boston Architectural College. Most recently, he directed an AIA Film Challenge submission, winning the People's Choice Award for 2023.
