Rebecca Jones, PE, SE, LEED AP BD+C, NOMA is Principal of Structural Engineering at Hatfield Group, a design-driven structural engineering firm that is owned and led by women. She manages the technical and daily operations of Hatfield Group’s structural team and leads major projects. Her experience at Hatfield Group includes several includes several CLT projects, including the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. The museum is designed by Herzog & de Meuron and archimania and will be a new and inclusive home for Memphis' largest and oldest arts institution that will prominently feature art by local and African Diaspora artists. Jones has over 15 years of experience designing complex and high-performance structural systems for projects including public projects, cultural hubs, commercial developments, and comprehensive renovations. Her experience includes serving as Senior Project Manager at Simpson, Gumpertz & Heger and 12 years as Senior Associate at Thornton Tomasetti, where she oversaw projects including the 1.8-million-square-foot tower 10 Hudson Yards and Al Faisaliah, a 100-meter tall hotel and commercial building in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
