Lauriane Donang (Lauri) is a Designer currently living and working in Baltimore while pursuing her Architecture License. She works in Lifesciences where she focuses primarily on Research and Lab projects and Workplace as well. Lauri is originally from Chad (Central Africa) and chose Architecture because she is fascinated by the built environment and wants to bring a change in the world. Her philosophy is to create an environment that’s in harmony with its roots while looking up to its branches. Just like a tree, Lauri wants to stay true to her roots because they shaped who she is and who she will be, while allowing herself to grow in different ways looking up to the future. As a minority and a woman in this field, Lauri’s priority is to get license and help other women architects who drifted out for lack of opportunities and representation. Aside from architecture, Lauriane is passionate about health, fitness and traveling across the world. A fun fact about her is that she visited more than half of all the states in the US which is more than the national average.
