Anzilla Gilmore is the Chief Facilities Officer for the Louisiana State University System where she leads a staff of over 500 in the design and construction of new and renovated facilities, facilities maintenance, and property oversight for all 8 LSU campuses across the state of Louisiana. She has dedicated herself to professional leadership in organizations and mentorship for over 20 years. She is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) and established the first NOMA chapter in Houston, TX. She also served as a director on the first board of the Architects Foundation (AF). Anzilla is a graduate of the School of Architecture at Prairie View A&M University and the University of Texas at Arlington’s Graduate School of Architecture. She also holds a graduate certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Boston College. As a leader dedicated to developing learning organizations and a champion of lifelong learning, Anzilla is currently pursuing a doctorate in education for Leadership and Learning in Organizations at Vanderbilt.
