Most of us spent five years or more on a college campus. Did you think about the architecture on your campus and wonder how you could have the opportunity to influence the design of buildings and spaces? Architects can use their skills in roles outside of traditional practice. Most campuses are run like small towns and cities. They have their own planning, design, and construction departments. Architects along with engineers, construction managers, and other professionals manage design and construction for these environments. Join this panel discussion of architects, who combined have nearly 25 years of experience working for universities, to discuss their projects, roles, and perspective as an architect in a university setting and how universities engage architects to work on thier campuses.
