Janyah is a Philadelphia-based designer at interdisciplinary firm Wallace Roberts & Todd. Her work focuses on affordable residential design and community development in the Northeast region of the country. At WRT, she supports both the Architecture and Urban Planning teams, bringing a cross-disciplinary approach to design.

As a Philadelphia native, Janyah is passionate about community advocacy. She is an active volunteer with The Community Design Collaborative, a local nonprofit that offers affordable design services. In 2024, she was recognized as their Volunteer of the Year for her work on the Science Leadership Academy schoolyard redevelopment plan. Janyah also volunteers with the Royal Sisters Project, a local nonprofit that offers support and mentorship for at risk youth, where she serves as a mentor and club leader.

Janyah holds an accredited Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University’s 2+4 program and currently serves as the Technology Chair for the Philadelphia NOMA chapter. In March, she was celebrated as a promising emerging architect in the METROPOLIS Arch30 Philadelphia Cohort.
