Kim Weaver is a dedicated community organizer and advocate for health equity in Wyandotte County, Kansas. As a co-founder of WyCo Mutual Aid, she has been instrumental in grassroots efforts to support underserved communities through mutual aid networks, direct service initiatives, and policy advocacy. Kim is an active member of the Vibrant Community Advisory Council, where she amplifies community voices and helps shape equitable healthcare policies. Her work includes presenting the Health Equity Action Transformation Report and coordinating town hall forums in collaboration with the Center for African American Health. She has played a key role in coalitions like Communities Organizing to Promote Equity (COPE) and the Mobile Market Community Council, focusing on improving access to healthcare, food security, and social services. Through her lived experience and deep community engagement, Kim continues to be a powerful force in driving systemic change and fostering health equity for all residents.
