Yu-Ngok Lo, FAIA, is the President and Co-founder of the Immigrant Architects Coalition, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for immigrant architects and promoting diversity in the profession. He is also the Founding Principal of YNL Architects, Inc., a full-service architecture and interior design firm recognized for its innovative and award-winning designs. Yu-Ngok's work has garnered numerous prestigious awards, including the AIA California Urban Design Award, NAHB Best of American Living Awards, Gold Nugget Awards, American Residential Design Awards, and various AIA design awards. His projects have been widely published in esteemed media outlets such as ArchDaily, Hinge Magazine, CONDE, CommArch Magazine, and Hospitality-Interiors Magazine. An accomplished professional, Yu-Ngok has been honored with several accolades, including the AIA Louis Blanchard Bethune Fellowship, AIA Presidential Citation, AIA National Young Architects Award, NAHB Young Professional Award, BIA San Diego County RISE Forty and Under, BD+C 40 Under 40, and ENR 20 Under 40. He is also the recipient of the AIACC Young Architect Award and the AIBD Designer of the Year Award. In recognition of his significant contributions to the field, Yu-Ngok was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2020.
