Chandra is passionate about creating beautiful spaces that are welcoming and accessible to everyone. A dedicated civic leader, Chandra is Vice Chair of the Portland Design Commission and serves on the Boards of the Oregon Black Pioneers and the National Association of Minority Architects (NOMA) Portland Chapter. Chandra brings ample experience guiding the success of projects that create more equitable outcomes. She is an expert in leading inclusive engagement that solicits feedback from diverse communities. Her recent work on university projects, library designs, affordable housing included extensive engagement.
