Lauri is a Technical Designer at Gensler and has experience in a diverse range of project types, including life sciences, data centers, education, and sports. She is a leader within and outside the design world as her passion stems from a deep fascination with the built environment and a desire to create positive change while impacting people's life. As a 2024 AIA Emerging Professional, Lauri's everyday goal is to know more today than she did yesterday so that she can be best positioned to help others. She stays involved and continues to learn by participating in research grants, such as the one where she collaborated with a team to analyze the current healthcare system in Baltimore. Beyond the clock, Lauri values a holistic approach to life, that contribute to a well-rounded lifestyle. She prioritizes her physical well-being through health and fitness, expands her horizons with global travel, expresses herself creatively through dance and music, explores different cultures through food, stimulates her mind with reading, and maintains financial awareness. Essentially, these activities nurture her curiosity, fuel her creativity, provide fresh perspectives, and ultimately make her better daily.
