Brian is an Architect with 11 years of experience specializing in aviation and interior architecture, with a primary focus on airport terminal interiors. He has spent a large amount of time designing a new terminal at JFK Airport, which includes 1.9 million square feet of scope. His experience ranges from design development, BIM management, construction administration services and consultant coordination. He has worked to build a great client relationship with a local airport authority. Additionally, Brian thrives in business development and has worked throughout his career to bring local community-focused buildings into the firm. Brian’s experience spans multiple market sectors, including healthcare, laboratories, hospitality, higher education, office, assisted living, multifamily residential, and aviation, with work ranging from new construction to renovation, adaptive reuse, and a bit of historic preservation. Prior to joining Gensler, Brian practiced architecture in St. Louis for seven years, contributing extensively to design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. His experience included managing a large-scale hospital campus renovation exceeding 600,000 square feet, with responsibilities encompassing RFIs, submittals, bulletins, and punch lists. He also has experience in early design phases, space planning, and serving as a LEED champion on a mixed-use office project.
