Speaker Bio

Tazianna Footman is the Design Services Coordinator at the community Design Collaborative and a B.Arch candidate at Drexel University. At the Collaborative she works with her team to manage conceptual design projects leading to the creation of reports helping visualize and allocate funding for community projects. While completing her degree at Drexel, she has been involved in her school community through National Organization of Minority Architects as their Secretary and Class Rep. Ms. Footman is passionate about sharing knowledge and uplifting her peers through maintaining community. This is seen in the organization she is a leader of, Building Relationships in Diverse Experiences. In addition to Drexel based work, she has participated in the Justice Alliance for Design Education Studio that introduced her to the work of other schools in the area, enriching her knowledge and passion for community driven work.Outside of work and school, she is involved with Philadelphia’s National Organization of Minority Architects. Ms. Footman serves on the 2025-26 Board as the Student Executive Member. Through this organization she has served as a director for Project Pipeline. Ms. Footman not only has a history of community evolvement but also enjoys being in the presence of her community.
