Thai Nguyen is District Manager for PCL Construction’s Los Angeles office, where he leads business operations, drives regional growth, and champions collaborative, innovative project delivery across Southern California. A native Angeleno, Thai began his career with PCL as a field engineer in 2008 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Over nearly two decades with the firm, he has advanced through key leadership roles, contributing to high-profile projects such as the UCLA Pauley Pavilion renovation and expansion, while building strong industry relationships and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Recognized as one of ENR California’s Top 20 Under 40, Thai brings deep experience in progressive delivery methods—including design-build and integrated project delivery—and is committed to advancing workforce development, inclusion, and strategic partnerships that strengthen project performance and business development outcomes.
