Nathan Butler, FAIA, is the director of the Orlando, Florida, office of HKS.  A Florida licensed architect with over 30 years of experience, Nathan’s work spans across a range of practice areas, including education, health care, government, sports and cultural facilities.  Nathan is a past President of both AIA Orlando and AIA Florida, has served on the AIA National Strategic Council, and is currently a Regional Representative to the AIA College of Fellows.  He was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2018 and is the 2025 recipient of the AIA Florida Gold Medal.
