Speaker Bio

Angie Hunt is the Education and Programming Director and a Public Engagement Specialist at My Architecture Workshops, Inc., where she leads the development of innovative, youth-centered learning and community engagement initiatives. She is also the Co-Founder of My Architecture Workshops Summer Camp, a licensed nonprofit day camp rooted in S.T.E.A.M. education that introduces K–8 students to architecture, design, and the built environment through hands-on, collaborative projects. With a background spanning education, writing, film, music, and the creative arts, Angie brings a multidisciplinary approach to curriculum design and public engagement. She designs immersive learning experiences that blend architectural theory with practical application, supporting students in exploring how buildings and cities are designed and built through the lenses of science, geography, mathematics, and art. Angie’s work extends beyond the classroom into community-based planning and engagement. Developing outreach strategies that advance equitable community-driven design projects. She curates workshops, lectures, and events, ensuring that youth and community voices are meaningfully represented in the planning and design process. Through her leadership, Angie strengthens the connection between education, creativity, and civic participation, helping to reshape architectural education in ways that are inclusive, accessible, and grounded in real-world impact.
