Abigail R. Brown, FAIA, is a Washington, DC–based architect and design leader who shapes high-impact cultural, civic, hospitality, and mixed-use projects across the country. She is a Project Architect and Design Manager at Gensler, where she has worked on complex projects including Under Armour’s global headquarters, Point Place Casino & Hotel for the Oneida Indian Nation, and cultural and museum projects. A longtime AIA leader, Abi is the 2024-2026 Washington, DC, representative on the Strategic Council. She previously served as a 2022-2025 At-Large Director on the AIA DC Board, 2025 Strategic Council Vice Moderator, 2025 Co-Chair of the Secretary’s Advisory Committee, and as the 2022 Young Architects Forum Chair. Abi received the 2020 AIA Young Architects Award and was elevated to the AIA College of Fellows in 2024 under Object 3: Led the Institute.
