Speaker Bio

Dominique Moore, AIA, NOMA, is a licensed architect and the Co-Founder and Executive Director of My Architecture Workshops, Inc., a Stamford, Connecticut–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on architecture education, urban planning, and community engagement. She leads efforts to introduce K–12 students, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to architecture, design, and construction, while creating meaningful pathways into the AEC professions. With over 20 years of domestic and international experience across education, residential, workplace, and hospitality sectors, Dominique brings a practice-informed approach to community-centered work. She believes exceptional design is about creating spaces that tell a story, serve a purpose, and endure over time. In parallel, Dominique is the Founder and Principal of Leytonstone Studios, an architecture and interior design practice dedicated to crafting innovative, community-centered spaces. Dominique is Vice President of NOMA Connecticut, a former Associate Director on the AIA Connecticut Board and Regional Associate Director for AIA New England, a member of the AIA CT J.E.D.I. Committee, and an Advisory Board member for the University of Hartford Architecture Program. In recognition of her leadership and service, she received the NOMAct Jose Hernandez President’s Award in 2022 and the AIA Connecticut President’s Award in 2025.
