Saundra Little, FAIA, LEED AP, NOMA, a principal and director of diversity and inclusion with Quinn Evan is a licensed, accomplished Architect and dedicated advocate for the revitalization of the urban realm. Her portfolio reflects the diversity of the neighborhoods she champions, with successful cultural, institutional, educational, and commercial projects of all sizes.
Little has planned and designed many notable projects in Detroit and the Midwest. She led a collaborative team to document and honor sites associated with the Black civil rights movement in Detroit, a part of the National Park Service’s efforts to provide a more inclusive interpretation of American history. She served as an architect and community engagement specialist for an inclusive master plan for the APA Award-winning Warrendale Cody Rouge Neighborhood, also in Detroit.
She graduated from Lawrence Technological University with a Master’s and Bachelor of Science in Architecture. She is also a Co-Founder of Noir Design Parti, and co-host of the Hidden and Plain Site Podcast, documenting Black architects’ histories in Michigan. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute - Michigan; a Midwest Vice President of the National Organization of Minority Architects; and a Board Member of Detroiters Working for Environmental Justice.
