Speaker Bio
Patricia Kepler is an accessibility specialist at Portland Community College and fierce advocate for inclusive design as a person with a disability. She brings more than 20 years of experience partnering with government agencies and non-profit organizations to achieve common goals, including serving on the Tri-Met Committee on Accessible Transportation and the Metro Committee on Racial Equity. Patricia was also appointed by then-Gov. John A. Kitzhaber to serve on the Department of Human Services’ Oregon Disabilities Commission.
For nearly 20 years, Patricia served as President of the Blind Ambition Dragon Boat Team – America’s first dragon boat team of blind paddlers – receiving the City of Portland 2014 Making A Difference Award. She earned a M.S. in Management and Organizational Leadership and a B.S. in Business Administration both from Warner Pacific University.
