Kate Thuesen, AIA, NOMA, LEED AP, is the Talent Acquisition Leader at DLR Group. She is an ardent advocate for emerging professionals at her firm and across the country and founded the Emerging Professional Experience to support interns and new grads in learning about the business of design. She serves on the Architecture Alumni Advisory Committee at her alma mater, Iowa State University, and previously taught professional practice at ISU. Kate volunteers as the National Director of Strategic Vision for the American Institute of Architects Young Architects Forum (YAF) and is the first-ever liaison from the YAF to the LFRT.
