Danáe, a descendant of the Walla Walla Tribe from Oregon, is a project architect passionate about integrating many voices and perspectives into designs that respect the community and natural environment. Danáe has experience with engagement in a variety of settings and communities. While a student at the University of Oregon, Danáe was a building committee member during Hennebery Eddy’s rehabilitation of Chapman Hall — giving her unique insight into the process of renovating an existing structure to meet the needs of current users. She serves on the firm’s Net Positive Committee and has spearheaded an effort to create a firm-wide process at Hennebery Eddy to consistently promote DEI through all work, from academic and cultural to commercial and aviation projects.
