Nakia Neves is a marketing and business development professional with nearly 20 years of experience working in the AEC industry. Nakia’s professional passion is to integrate the principals of Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) into the broader AEC industry. In 2019, she joined the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) as an allied member where she works to bridge the design industry with the greater communities it serves. In 2021, she was elected to the NOMA Arizona chapter board as treasurer. In this role, she facilitates the implementation of strategic initiatives with a focus on community partnerships and outreach.
