Katherine is a Registered Architect and brings 20 years of experience in the design and delivery of Higher Education and Research facilities, including laboratory and classroom buildings, student housing, student centers, and campus master plans. Katherine has served as an Emerging Leader in HOK’s Technical Board, is a member of the firm’s Diversity Advisory Council, and currently leads HOK’s Designing for Equity research initiative that seeks to integrate equitable design principles into the firm’s projects. She is passionate about equity in design and believes that as designers, we have the opportunity to improve quality of life and enhance the human experience through thoughtful and sustainable design.
