Jennifer is an architect, writer & community builder based in Portland, Oregon. As an architect, she has 20+ years of experience in many different scales of projects ranging from residential to multistory commercial. As the founder of studio RALLYMADE Design & Architecture she provides a resource to connect, create & communicate on the importance of design. She's a contributing writer for publications such as Dwell, Portland Architecture, Oregon Home, UrbDeZine and EQxD. As a committed advocate supporting women and underrepresented groups within the profession of architecture, she served as previous chair of the AIA Portland Committee on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion. Most recently she held the Board role as AIA Oregon Portland Section Director, representing over 1,800 local AIA members at the State level. Currently she chairs the AIA Oregon Small Firm Exchange (SFx) & serves on the AIA National SFx Board. Jennifer received her Art History degree from Fordham University. She obtained her Master of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon, with an emphasis on Sustainable Design. Outside of work, she finds great joy in spending time with her family & three dogs.
