Taz Khatri is the principal and founder of Taz Khatri Studios. She has over 20 years of experience with commercial, multifamily residential, and single-family residential work. She loves helping minority, immigrant, and women clients create warm and functional spaces, navigate the process of obtaining permits and help clients build their dreams while sticking to their budget. She works primarily on community-positive projects such as urban infill, missing middle housing, accessory dwelling units, and helping small businesses with their architecture needs. She has a podcast that covers all things that impact the built environment called Tea with Taz. She also writes about architecture on her blog and her newsletter. When she’s not in the office, Taz enjoys being an aunt to 21 nieces and nephews and a grand aunt to 7 grandnieces and nephews and she likes drawing cartoons and creative writing. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her husband Rodney and corgi Kelly.
