"When Will Equity Really be Equity for Women in Design," will explore the ongoing efforts to promote gender equity in the field of design. Despite progress over the years, women still face significant barriers in achieving equality in design careers, including issues such as pay disparities, bias in hiring and promotion, and lack of representation in leadership positions. In this session, we will examine the history of gender inequality in design and explore current issues and challenges that women in the industry face. We will also analyze strategies and best practices for achieving gender equity in design and discuss how individuals, organizations, and society as a whole can work to address these issues. Attendees will engage in self-reflection and group discussions to develop a deeper understanding of the issues and potential solutions related to gender equity in design.
