Phil Dougherty, RA, NCARB, NOMA, LEED AP BD+C, has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kansas and is a registered architect in Kansas and Missouri. Phil is currently an Associate Vice President and Senior Project Manager at Slaggie Architects, Inc since 2014. Some of his current projects include Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Scissors & Scotch and Frontier Justice. With nearly 38 years of experience, he's held positions with local KC sports architecture firms such as Ellerbe Becket, HNTB, and Multistudio. Some of Phil's community involvement includes NOMAKC (National Organization of Minority Architects, Kansas City), which he co-founded 6 years ago, and as an Advisory Board Member at KU and the non-profit Mattie Rhodes Center. Phil has 33 years of marriage with wife Teresa and has two married children, Bruce & Deanna.
