Jeffrey Williams, AICP is a land use planner originally from Yonkers, New York with expertise in urban design, historic preservation, capital projects, and public art. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, he combines his design and educational skills to empower communities in creating welcoming environments. As a past leader of city planning agencies in Kansas City, MO, Yonkers, NY, and Mount Vernon, NY, Jeffrey created consensus by building shared foundations of facts and leveraging motivations to deliver plans that drive meaningful progress. He is currently a Senior Project Manager at Shockey Consulting in Overland Park, Kansas providing support for Urban Infill and Redevelopment Planning, Land Use and Zoning Policy Development, Historic Preservation and Adaptive Reuse, Infrastructure and Capital Improvement Planning, Development Project Review and Design Evaluation, Planning Agency Organizational Assessment, and Project Implementation Strategy Development. Jeffrey has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners since 1998, serves on the University of Missouri-Kansas City / Architecture, Urban Planning + Design Program Advisory Board Member, and is the vice chair of the board for the Crossroads Charter Schools in Kansas City, Missouri.
