Richie Hands, AIA, NCARB, NOMA, LEED AP BD+C is an Award Winning Architect at the Lamar Johnson Collaborative in Chicago working across multiple disciplines in architecture and interior design. He recieved his Masters Degree in Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology and his Bachelors of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee School of Architecture. He currently serves as the Vice President of Membership and Secretary of the AIA Chicago Board of Directors, a Director on the ACE Chicago Executive Director Board of Directors and is the current NOMA National Chair of Project Pipeline. Richie was the recipient of the 2024 AIA National Young Architect of the Year award in large part due to his career long commitment to mentorship and development.
