Edward Bartholomew is the principal of Bartholomew Lighting, a Black-owned lighting design consultancy. He has over thirty years of experience designing sustainable, inspiring, and award-winning architectural lighting systems. Edward is an invited lighting and social justice speaker at regional, national, and international conferences. Edward serves on the IES DIER committee. In addition, Edward is the co-founder of Light Justice, a lighting social justice resource & forum advocating for lighting design practice to support under-resourced communities. And the founder of BUILD (Black United In Lighting & Design), an African-American lighting professionals affinity group.
