Join us for an exciting discussion and exclusive tour of the groundbreaking development underway in Kansas City’s historic 18th & Vine District. Since the 1800s, 18th & Vine has been a vibrant center for Black culture, business, and community, known globally for its influence on jazz, baseball, and Black economic growth. The new Negro Leagues Baseball District, located at 18th & Paseo, is set to honor this rich legacy while fostering investment through minority-owned partnerships. Led by the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM) and Grayson Capital, this transformative project will feature a state-of-the-art museum, a boutique hotel, residential units, and retail spaces. Join our panel of experts as they discuss the vision behind the district, how this collaboration came to be, and the positive impact it will have on the community. Following the discussion, enjoy a guided walking tour of the construction site to see firsthand the exciting progress. Don’t forget to wear closed-toed shoes for the site visit!
