South Florida is host to several K-12 architectural introductory programs hosted through SoFloNOMA, AIA Miami, and The Miami Center for Architecture and Design. Hear from the founders and directors of programs such as Project Pipeline, Architects in the Making, and Black Architects in the Making, on how the different organizations work together and separately to grow the pipeline of minority architects and how there can be space for these programs to co-exist in the same region. Learn some of the activities and tactics that each program uses to engage students who may be learning about architecture for the first time and how it scales in complexity for repeat participants.
